**Machine for the production of stirrups and cut to length bars FORMAT 16 H.S.** **3D** fully automatic, electronically controlled machine to shape, from coiled stock of cold drawn or hot rolled material, concrete reinforcing elements. Wire range from 8 to 16 mm having a maximum tensile strength of 700 N/mm ². Possibility of double stranding with diameters up to 12 mm. Machine delivered ready for use, in full operating condition ( without hydraulic oil ), outfitted with all its standard accessories and spare parts. **MAIN TECHNICAL FEATURES** **FEEDING AND STRAIGHTENING UNIT MEP "AFS"** ( patented ) with a special roller configuration, which prevents the bar from rotating on its axis while advancing. This unit provides for the processing of hot rolled bars with decisively superior straightening results with respect to that which can be obtained using traditional horizontal and vertical straightening units. The rollers are mounted in fixed positions upon electrically and hydraulically driven and electronically-controlled mobile slides, in order to allow for them to be automatically positioned based on the diameter of the bar to be processed. This straightening system, which is featured on all MEP machinery, provides for significant advantages when preparing the machine for processing operations. In fact, preparation times are significantly reduced since the rollers do not have to be individually adjusted in order to achieve perfect straightening. **HYDRAULIC SHEAR** with mobile blade for diameters from 8 to 16 mm. **BENDING UNIT** complete with all the bending pins necessary to produce stirrups and large shapes in conformity with the bending norms in force for the diameters from 8 to 16 mm. **3D DEVICE** (patented) allows the full automatic production of stirrups characterized by three-dimensional shapes. The machine works in 3D one wire at a time. **HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT** ( delivered without oil ) with total installed power of 23,13 KW which controls the functioning devices of the machine, the braking system of the pay-off stations and the different accessories. Equipped with: ° Variable flow pump and driven proportional electrovanes, controlling all the operating units. ° Standardised hydraulic components ( Vickers - Bosch - Rexroth - Danfoss ). ° Built-in cooling system with oil/air heat exchangers and automatic temperature control by thermostat in order to ensure the best possible operating conditions. **CONTROL PANEL " WORLD SYSTEM "** made up of the newest version of an industrial PC which for the management and control of all necessary data for the programming and functioning of the machine. This system is characterised by the latest, state-of-the-art electronic industrial technology. Namely: a compact, embedded, fanless microprocessor (therefore consuming less power) and without moving parts (diskless). A complete system backup upon system shutdown ensures the safeguarding of files and the integrity of memory support— an indispensable feature in the occurrence of accidental interruptions of power. The operator–machine interface is not only controlled via traditional peripherals (keyboard or buttons) but also via a touchscreen and electrical encoder, allowing the central management of all machine functions. All the information displayed on the video screen are appear in user-friendly windows , easily accessible and ensuring the following functions: ° Access to the programming of any kind of stirrup or shape having up to a maximum of 28 side lengths and 27 bends. ° Access to the in built memory where the memorised shapes are stored, thus allowing the fast programming by simply setting the value of the side lengths. ° Creation of new shapes by using key board functions with immediate display of the sketch in scale. ° Display and storage into the memory of the positioning of the straightening units for each diameter and quality of wire ( nine different positions can be memorised for every diameter of wire ). ° Automatic simulation of the bending cycle of the programmed shape to check the possibility to carry it out without problems. ° Automatic control of the bending speed according to the dimensions of the programmed shape. ° Correction of the bending angles, through potentiometer, during the working cycle. ° Continuous variation of the bending and pulling speeds, through potentiometer, during the working cycle. ° Possible check of the correct functioning of all the operational devices of the machine. ° Access to the recapitulating production times stored into the memory that are automatically registered for every working position carried out. ° Possibility of programming and carrying out an automatic sequence of parts different the one from the other. ° Possibility of programming, with automatic calculation of the dimensions, of the pieces composing one beam with upper side regular inclination to produce them in an automatic sequence. ° Adjusting of the pause time between the execution of one piece and the next one in order to facilitate the evacuation of the finished material. ° Manual controls for all the operating devices of the machine. ° Standard RS 232 port for connection to an external computer, thus allowing the downloading of the production data into the memory of the control panel. ° Standard front USB port to download all saved production data allowing, in the absence of an external PC, information to be stored on a USB flashdrive or pendrive. ° Standard RJ45 Ethernet (LAN) port for direct connection to a pre-existing corporate network, allowing the exchange of production data between the machine and the machine management program. ° Connection-ready for a bar code reader. ° Interface and control software programmed in Linux operating system, including the following standard modules: 1\. Operator management interface 2\. Machine management 3\. Diagnostics management 4\. Management of maintenance programming 5\.
